This is me, Betty Jane Lippert, born on January 7, 1931, to Gladys and
Edward Lippert. I was learning to crawl, pulling myself along to explore this new life I had recently incarnated into.
Check out the finger waves, that was the hairstyle during that era. Some type of gooey hair gel was rubbed into the wet hair, combed through and then my mom's fingers squeezed the hair until the wave was made and when the hair dried the waves stayed in place
I am now one year old, wide eyed with wonder about experiencing life with my five senses of seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, and feel by touch. Even at this age I felt there was more to what my five senses were registering to my mind—something beyond what my present state of awareness could comprehend—but I knew existed.
The finger waves were hard to maintain at this age, so my mom opted for a short bob and bangs. Aren't I cute?
Now twelve years of age when I had my first out-of-body experience,
which occurred during a near drowning episode I had, where I went down under the water three times, seeing my life pass before my eyes.
I was saved by an unseen hand that helped me reach the ledge of a drop off so I could grabbed the rope of a buoyed off area that I was not supposed to venture outside of because I could not swim. The entire story can be found in my book.
I began writing when I was eight years old about my daily experiences and what I felt and thought about them. My writing began to rhyme and by the age of twelve, I was writing poetry.
At the age of sixteen, I had my first writing published in a four hundred and some page book of songwriters and poets titled, Rhyme ‘n Rhythm. When this picture was taken, it was my dream to write a book. This dream come true, sixty-two years later, when at the age of seventy-eight my first book was published, Dreams Designed by God for You.

This is I, today; at age seventy-nine as I appear on the cover of my new book, Life, A Spiritual Journey. I talk about my age because I wanted to impress upon those of you who have a dream of reaching a goal in life, there is not time like the present to get started working toward it.
It is never too late or too soon, to pursue a passion you hold within you mind and heart. Go for it! Let God know what your heart’s desire is and ask for the guidance of Divine Spirit to show you the way to achieve it. Think outside the box of the logical consciousness—view this yearning from the viewpoint of Soul—without limitations on what you can or cannot achieve.
Of all my sacerdotal duties as a minister, my favorites are weddings. In addition, of the many weddings I officiated none put a song in my heart like the wedding of my granddaughter Jennifer Drakulic to her now husband Anthony Youngwirth.
The wedding was performed, on September 6, 2009, in my back yard under a maple tree, as the wedding guest looked on from the patio. This was a happy day for not only the bride and groom, but also indeed for the grandmother who pronounced them man and wife.
